Mother Nature

Our team here at ClassOrbit is sending our well wishes to all of our families who are impacted by Hurricane Ian. As many of you are dealing first-hand with Mother Nature’s force; others of us are watching updates and offering support from afar.

As we prepare for this hurricane to be one of those natural disasters we will remember for decades, it can be utilized as a relevant and powerful learning experience for kids and teens of all ages. Topics can range from the importance of water, the water cycle, weather and climate, atmospheric trends, emergency preparedness, etc. are all pertinent and can enhance the learning of our kids and teens.

Take a look at a multitude of videos on ClassOrbit that can help you build dynamic lessons around Hurricane Ian or simply search “weather” to pull up an entire list of resources!

As always, we hope to provide you with valuable tools to help enhance learning. We also are a family here at ClassOrbit and wish for the safety of all of our educators, students, and families.

Take care and stay safe!
