Breaks are scientifically proven to aide in mental and physical health. Whether it is a small break from doing a task or a larger week-long break from school, breaks are essential as humans. It has been shown that Spring break can be highly beneficial to students’ and teachers’ mental health because this week of vacation allows for a much-needed mental decompression from demanding school-related stressors (homework, social encounters, deadlines, schedules, grades, etc.).
Compare and contrast the everyday lives of people around the globe, and learn that while people may eat different foods and wear different clothes, they all have things in common. Realize that people around the world meet their needs in ways that make sense in their culture.
