Paris' Republique: One Of The World's Best Skate Spots

Right smack in the middle of one of the world's most beautiful cities sits a huge plaza that's perfect for skating. As if the size and location wasn't good enough, they let skaters put massive ledges, manual pads and hipped banks in it too!

You might even skate the centerpiece for a while before you realize it's a giant Volcom Stone logo! But back to the clip at hand, Heitor Da Silva recently spent an afternoon meandering through the plaza, clocking some butter-smooth lines for his IG.

The backside tailslide on the first clip to too good. Heitor basically catches the shove-it out half way and turns it and puts it down. Heads in the background are loving it too.

In the second clip, Heitor takes a backside 180 to fakie manual and leans so deep into it he drops his phone. At least his Bluetooth can keep him rocking until he's out of range.

And of course, anytime we're talking Paris' Republique, we can't help but think of Alex Olson's impeccable line in Swoosh.
